BATON ROUGE, LA — Louisiana-based production company Dark Atom Studios™ has officially released the first teaser for its upcoming supernatural adventure film, Kid Paranormal™, starring John Schneider (The Dukes of Hazzard) and Olivia Brown (Miami Vice).
The film follows Adie, a teenage girl with the rare ability to see and talk to ghosts. Alongside her energetic best friend Lilly, she starts a small ghost-hunting business to help locals with strange disturbances, and maybe make a little money on the side. But when their first job takes them to an old Louisiana camp, things quickly spiral into a chilling mystery that’s been buried for twenty years. What begins as a fun side hustle becomes a terrifying journey, proving that some jobs pay in chills instead of cash.
A Southern Ghost Story with Heart
Directed by Joe Mexican and written by Joe Mexican and Brittanie VanDyke, Kid Paranormal combines eerie suspense with heartfelt humor and a touch of Louisiana soul. The film stars Adison Salcedo as Adie and Lillian Weatherford as Lilly, supported by Schneider and Brown in pivotal roles that bring warmth and gravity to the story.
