BACKSTORY: Big but gentle, operating with a positive outlook on life, Buddy is wise beyond his years, although he sometimes seems a little slow. He's been Alex’s best friend ever since Alex saved him from bullies at their orphanage. Buddy is ready to follow Alex into any plan, even a career as superheroes. He joins Alex on his crime fighting journey to find out that even though his friend is brilliant, he doesn’t always make the best choices. Buddy’s optimism and loyalty will be tested by the brutal realities of trying to be superheroes in the real world. Sometimes the cost of being a sidekick, is greater than being a superhero.
